Do we collect stats on volatile table?

Yes. We can collect stats on volatile tables from TD 13 ,But in earlier versions it is not possible to collect stats on volatile table.

    But when i try to collect stats on voltile table..I am getting as "No stats defined on table:Stats err"---V14.0

    Pawan,

    I think you are trying to check stats defined on that table directly. First you can define stats on table by using "COLLECT STATS" statement and then check the stats.
